Villa Albatroz (formerly Villa Cascais) was the home of the Dukes of Palmela. The hotel overlooks Cascais bay and is near the Fishermen's beach.

To the west the road runs along the western Atlantic beaches with long stretches of sand and wide bays where the surfers enjoy the waves.
Lisbon International Airport is 35 kms away and Sintra is approximately 12 kms from the Inn.
