Quinta da Casa Branca is located in the beautiful town of Funchal.
It is set in a delightful location among the lush gardens of an old 12000 square meters garden estate. The garden has rich and vast fauna and flora, a sample of what the island is particularly known for. The Hotel’s modern architectural design was awarded the “City of Funchal Architecture Prize” in 1999.
In the Hotel there are several spacious indoor and outdoor areas. There is also a small library from where guests can borrow books free of charge. Board games and card games are also available as well as newspapers in various languages.

There are 12 superior rooms with queen size bed, private balcony or terrace overlooking the garden, sitting area and dressing room. The Hotel also has 2 suites with king size bed, large balconies overlooking the garden, dressing room and separate living room, cable television, telephone, safe (charge), radio, mini bar, hairdryer, cd player, air conditioning, personalized bathrobes and free internet access.
Both suites have large bathrooms with Jacuzzi.
The hotel’s heated swimming pool has the size of a full size tennis court and is equipped with changing rooms, showers, sun beds, deck chairs, sun umbrellas and towels.
The Hotel Health Club and Spa is equipped with multigym machines and equipments such as rowing machine, bicycle, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, sauna and relaxation facilities.
The Hotel’s restaurant, 'Casa da Quinta' is situated in the oldest building of the Hotel, dating back to the 19th century. The restaurant has an “a la carte” menu with a Portuguese contemporary touch.
Activities in the island of Madeira include walks on the famous “levadas”, watersports, diving, big game fishing, golf and visits to the other island of the archipelago, Porto Santo.
